MDS (Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge)
I completed my primary schooling in 1971 and secondary schooling in April 1975. I got 3rd rank in the S.S.C.E board exam at the center level. Due to my high merits in SSC Examination, I was selected for National Scholarship for further study.
I joined M. G. Science College in June 1975 for Pre Uni. Science and F. Y. B. Sc. with ‘B’ group in June 1976 for qualifying to get admission in medical or dental colleges. I completed my one-year voluntary training in National Cadet Crops from 17/07/1975 to 30/06/1976 during my study in Pre Uni. Science. I passed my F. Y. B. Sc. Examinations in June 1977 and qualified for the admission in B. D. S. course at Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Ahmedabad.
I joined Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Ahmedabad in July 1977, and completed my BDS course successfully with first attempt in all four years of course in November 1981.
I was awarded BDS degree by Gujarat University and registered as a dental surgeon at Gujarat State Dental Council in 1982. I was selected for two years master’s course (MDS) in the Dept. of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge in the same Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Ahmedabad, on the basis of merits. I completed my MDS exam in November 1983 successfully and was awarded MDS degree in 1984 from Gujarat University.
Apart from above-mentioned education, I have also tried to improve my skill by attending various seminars, conventions, scientific programs, continuing dental education programs, videoconferences, pre-conference courses, and many hands-on courses of latest update of dentistry. I have attended three hands-on courses of implant prosthodontics and taken training for implant prosthesis.
I have attended hands-on courses for cosmetic dentistry, and prosthetic dentistry.
I have obtained certificate from Govt. approved computer classes for the training of MS-office, which includes Microsoft Word, Notepad, WordPad, Word paint, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.
I have attended International & National workshop for Evidence Based Education System, which is Innovation of our SumandeepVidyapeeth.
